A Manifesto for the Common Good

Building a fairer Scotland, together.

We reject the idea that poverty or poor services are inevitable. Our plan treats people with dignity and puts resources back into communities—so every family can live securely and well.

Core beliefs

We believe in a Scotland where:

  • Community is stronger than corporate interest.

  • Prosperity is measured not in wealth hoarded, but in poverty eradicated.

  • Dignity is guaranteed from childhood to retirement.

  • Our natural legacy is protected fiercely for generations to come.

This is not a distant dream. It is a practical mission. It is the common sense of the common good.

Our Case for Independence

Scotland’s future should be determined by the people who call it home. Independence gives us the tools to build a fairer society and a resilient, sustainable economy rooted in our values. With full control over taxation, welfare and foreign policy, we can invest in green energy and innovation, prioritise wellbeing over austerity, rejoin the European Union, and ensure Scotland’s voice is heard on the world stage. Independence isn’t separation—it’s empowerment and renewal.

Tackling Poverty

Income security, stronger child support and local help that’s easy to access.

Accessible Healthcare

Quicker care, same-day urgent access and mental health support day and night.

Affordable Housing

Build more social homes, fair rents and warmer, cheaper-to-heat homes.

Welfare of Our Elders and Youth

Secure incomes, cheaper heating, free travel, youth opportunity and a real voice.

Early Years Intervention

50 hours childcare, free school meals for all and more support for families.

Energy & Environmental Justice

Fair energy bills, green jobs, community energy and nature restored.
