7PM - 10PM
The Scottish Common Party (SCP) brings people together to fix everyday problems with practical, responsible policies. We stand for strong public services, good jobs and growth, and safer communities — delivered with transparency and respect.
We organise locally across towns, cities and rural Scotland, listening first and measuring outcomes, not headlines. If you share that vision, join for just £2 per year and help turn common sense into common good.
Meet local supporters, hear from our leadership and get involved in your area.
National Gathering — 23 Nov, 7pm — Glasgow (RSVP)
We’re delighted to welcome Claire Gallagher as Vice Chair of the Scottish Common Party. Claire brings deep community experience and a people-first approach to politics. Watch the announcement and hear why she’s joining our movement for practical change.

Kamran came to Scotland in 2010 to play cricket and found a city that became home. He worked in care and as a tradesman, seeing daily the pressures families face. He stood for public office and led grassroots campaigns. At SCP he focuses on housing, community safety, youth opportunity and fair work—guided by teamwork, integrity and action.

Born and raised in Clydebank, Claire spent 27 years in social care across homelessness, addiction and mental health. After serious illness in 2023, she speaks up for families under pressure and people living with disability. She champions tackling poverty, affordable housing, fair healthcare and dignity for older people—always putting people first.
Tackling poverty — End child poverty with adequate support; expand community‑led initiatives to reduce inequality.
Accessible healthcare — Cut waiting times; put mental health on par with physical health; support carers and disabled people.
Affordable housing — Strengthen tenant protections; expand fair rent measures.
Welfare of our elders — Dignity in retirement; free transport expansion; better access to health and social care.
Early years intervention — Free, high‑quality childcare; tackle educational inequality with targeted support.
Energy & environment justice — Cap household energy costs; invest in community‑owned renewables; accelerate net‑zero.
